AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST MORNING TEA      DRAWTISM    PET PARADE

PET PARADE

On Friday 30th May we held a Pet Parade. This was a very successful day, with all animals behaving well amongst each other.  Students paraded their pet and spoke briefly on the microphone about their pet, ie: Name, breed, personality etc.  Please click on individual images to view larger.

AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST MORNING TEA

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea says Thank You!
Thursday 22nd May 2008

A BIG thank you for the fantastic generosity of Toora
Primary School’s community!

In bright sunshine our Morning Tea was a lovely way to spend the morning and to raise funds for the Cancer Council- as they say, “Every cup counts in the fight against cancer.”

A BIG thanks to children, parents, grandparents, teachers and community members who set up the food, came along with good cheer, gold coins, notes and delicious cakes, slices and biscuits. Together we were able to raise over $158-50 to fight Cancer! This is a fabulous effort for a small community and I will be very proud to send off the cheque tomorrow on behalf of our school.

Thank you all! Well done!
