ACTIVE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Toora Primary School has participated in the Active After-School Communities program since 2006.  This program, funded by the Australian Government, enables us to offer a wide range of quality, inclusive and fun physical activities. Each program runs for approximately 8 weeks.

A number of parents and staff members are qualified providers and completed the required Active After-school Community Coach Training Program conducted by the Australian Sports Commission

Active After-School Communities program is a weekly one hour program, 3.45pm – 4.45pm. 
Children participating in the program are provided a nutritious snack as an important part of the program (3:30pm). 
Parents are responsible for ensuring that children have appropriate clothing to suit the activity and signing students out at the end of each session.
